Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Callie is a Red Heeler and was found running up and down a highway - looking for someone who, unfortunately, never came for her.
She is about 1 - 1 1/2 years old and the vet believes she has been spayed. She is sweet and smart and loves to play fetch with her tennis ball - she actually brings it back.
We don't know if she fell off a truck or was dumped, but whoever lost her lost a great dog! We have notified everyone in the area (vets, shelters, etc.) but so far (after almost two weeks) no one has come for her.
When she visited the vet, she did not seem to have a problem with cats in carriers and I believe she would be good with other dogs.
Please call Holly at Northern New Mexico Friends of Animals for more details on Callie at 575-586-0784 and let's get this little rescue dog the great home that she deserves!
