My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Olive is an adorable 8 yr old, 5lb, light brown chihuahua who has lived a rough life on the streets of Boyle Heights. Her current foster found Olive wandering near her workplace looking for chicken bones from Popeye's across the way. Hence the name... Lol. We found out from some neighbors that she had been abandoned by her owners when they moved away.

Olive loves belly rubs, neck scratches, and any kind of TLC as she hasn't felt this kind of affection in quite some time. She appreciates living inside a home and can sleep all day in your blankets or even on your lap. Olive is very quiet and can be shy/scared at times with sudden movements since she's still learning to trust. She is non reactive to other dogs and would probably do best in a home with other small gentle dogs as she is not a fan of her bigger more rambunctious dogs. She is house trained, walks well on leash (although she is so tiny you could carry her around everywhere with you), and has so much love to give. Please consider adopting Olive. Once she opens up to you, you'll see that she's a gentle soul who craves the love she's been missing all these years.
