My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NIKA HAS BEEN ADOPTED! This WISE OLD GIRL was languishing in one of our local, BC shelters and was a regular there over the years. It's sad to say that NIKA spent most of her adult life in a BC shelter. Her last owners did not claim her back.

We are SO thrilled to have taken this old girl into our care. NIKA is a fantastic dog about 10 years young. While she has lived a difficult life, she is ready to let go of the past and move towards her new future. NIKA is GREAT with other dogs and LOVES people and FOOD. She is currently on a low cal diet. We are told NIKA can "not" live with cats and will chase them hard. She is very mobile however, a home with less stairs as she ages is best. Breed guess is shepherd/hound/husky mix. NIKA weighs about 60 lbs.

NIKA is so loving, affectionate, gentle and has a kind heart. We believe NIKA has quite a few quality years left in her. She is an absolute SWEETHEART!
