My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly is a wonderful well mannered Great Pyrenees that will warm anyone's heart. Molly is two and a half years old.

The Good:
Molly is potty trained, and crate trained and even knows how to use a dog door.

Molly is current on all her vaccinations and is spayed and even micro-chipped.

Molly is EXCELLENT with children of any size! Absolutely wonderful dog around little ones and very tolerant.

Molly is great with dogs of any size and age and shows a true Great Pyrenees nature which is to be gentle and even motherly.

Molly is good with Cats!

Molly know's some basic commands of "Sit" "Stay" and "Paw" she can even lay down too.

Molly is leash trained, however does get excited and will pull.

Now with all this good there would have to be some bad and we believe everyone she be prepared to know what they are facing when adopting a dog of any behavior problems.

The Bad

Being a Great Pyrenees Molly likes to dig! This is normal behavior for the breed.

Molly was adopted previously but returned because Molly started showing some signs of anxiety when left alone, chewing up things in the persons home. So crating while away is suggested until Molly grows comfortable in her new home! Otherwise this behavior was never noted.

Molly will need plenty of toys! She's a young girl and would love plenty of toys to rip and play with and of course plenty of bones to!

Molly is food aggressive when it comes to sharing her bowl with other dogs. She has never growled or snapped at any humans at feeding time but feels the need to protect her food when it's dinner time, so feed separate from other dogs.

Did we mention the shedding? Great Pyrenees are beautiful animals HOWEVER Those lovely long white coats leave behind a lot of white hair so be prepared! This dog sheds!
