ADOPTION PENDING! Bee is being lovingly fostered in a private home in Lovettsville, Virginia
Hi, my name is Bee. I like to play with my toys, chew on bones and chase my foster mom & siblings around in the house or in the back yard. I really enjoy going on walks around the neighborhood, smelling the flowers and visiting with neighbors. My second favorite thing to do is snuggle with my foster family on the couch. I also like to roll over on my back so you can give my a good belly rub.
Overall, I'm a pretty typical senior gal. My foster mom says I'm the full package, but I'm not sure of what that means. She tell's me that I'm a funny, smart, loving dog. Everyone says I look young for my age – check out my pictures!
Sometimes I have trouble going up and down stairs because I may have a little arthritis in my elbow. Luckily I'm a little girl and my foster parents just carry me up and down when needed. I also need help getting on and off the couch. Even though I may have a small limp when I walk sometimes, it doesn't stop me from getting around.
My foster mom says that she can't understand how my previous family gave me up but she promises me that I'll be happy with my new family and I believe her! I hope that my new family comes along soon, I have so much love to give.
Bee weighs about 13 pounds and she will be celebrating her 12th birthday in June. She is spayed, HW negative and on preventatives. All vaccines are up to date.
Bee is being fostered in Lovettsville, VA.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
