This Pretty girl is SOPHIE a beautiful Golden Retriever/Lab Mix. Sophie is 2yrs old, she weighs in at 53lb. Sophie has the most wonderful temperament. she is blessed with, a lovely soft coat and beautiful soulful brown eyes that just melt your heart
SOPHIE`S story >>>> Its hard to believe that Sophie found herself without a home wandering as a stray in North Florida, she wandered into someones yard. They tried to make her go away but Sophie tired and hungry would not leave. The people gave her some food and let her stay outside with their unfixed male Husky. The inevitable happened and Sophie became pregnant. The pups were born and all but one was re homed. The people contacted a animal advocate saying Sophie and pup had to leave. The advocate reached out to us and we brought both into our rescue. We placed this adorable sweet girl in a foster home had her vetted and started her evaluation, we were pleased with the outcome, Sophie is a happy girl a little timid at times but she loves the other dogs. Sophie by all accounts is a quiet girl, she does like to run free in the yard. She is gentle and dosent jump on you unless invited. She loves her cuddles and sometimes she is almost a needy girl just wanting to please always looking for re assurance on what she can or isnt allowed to do. Very friendly but timid at first but quickly warms up. she is nice and calm in the house. Sophie is good around children adults and strangers. she is a great family girl. We havent tested her with cats but she is calm so she may work
We are now searching for a wonderful forever home for Sophie. A home that will give her stability and security she needs Sophie has blossomed in the time she has been with us she is certainly a favorite.
This girl is so lovable she deserves a family that will give her the love and attention she needs.
Sophie will warm to you and just melt your heart. she loves to be around humans and will follow you around, she loves to go for walks, and is good on the leash. she knows commands sit, stay and we are working on others, she is gentle and she loves car rides she is excellent in the car. Sophie is house and crate trained she will go to the door when she needs to potty at the moment she is in a routine with her foster and is taken out regularly, she is intelligent and smart and will easily pick up your routine.Sophie is not high maintenance but a family that does not work long hours would be perfect. crating for long hours would not work for this girl in fact we haven't crated her at all.Crating for long hours will just bring on stress
At night time she will sleep on a sofa or a bed however she just loves to sleep on your bed she loves to be close to her humans. she thrives on attention Sophie is a sweet gentle girl.
its so hard not to fall in love with this girl And its very difficult to find anything negative to say about her. Sophie is spayed, current on all vaccinations, heart worm negative and she is micro.chipped. she is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to run outdoors and relax with you in the home. We are looking to find Sophie a wonderful forever home where she can have stability and security in her life probably for the first time.
We are looking for a forever home that can cherish her and give her the love and attention she needs, A family that is really stable and can give her that forever home that means forever. We don't want to ever see this girl in need again. Sophie is so lovable, and she is good with children. A family that will include her in their lifestyle and activities and make her a part of the family would be perfect for Sophie she will only get better with the right interaction. Someone that is at home most of the day would be perfect for her she dosent like to be apart from you for hours on end.
A home with a fenced in yard, acreage or pool lanai where she can relax and play is essential and she would make a good companion for another dog.
