Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Peaches was trapped in Caroline County. Her owner was a hoarder who passed away leaving over 40 cats that needed to be spayed/neutered. The colony had several friendly cats, polydactyls, manx mixs, and Turkish Van mixes.
When Peaches was trapped she was very pregnant. She was shy, scared, and uncomfortable from being moved to an unfamiliar home and about to give birth. Through all of the stress and uncertainty, Peaches did not scratch or bite. In fact, if we reached out to pet her, she would let us and she would purr.
Now that she has settled in and is comfortable with her surroundings, Peaches comes looking for attention from her foster mom. She likes to be petted and loved on and she will let you hold her. Peaches is also comfortable with other people meeting her and petting her. She is a beautiful, sweet cat that will be a wonderful companion for a family of her own. Peaches has been around a 60lb dog and is good with her. Peaches also has 4 kittens and 1 adopted kitten that are looking for homes. She might love to have a home with one of her kittens but it is not a requirement.
We are accepting applications on Peaches and the kittens now. They will be ready for adoption in 2-3 weeks.
