My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Auggie came to us because he had run out of time at the shelter he was in. He was going to be put down. We were contacted by a lady who had fallen in love with him but was not allowed to have him in the apartment she lives in. She could not handle the thought of him being put down. So she made arrangements to pick him up and bring him to us. Auggie did come with some health issues and also some bad habits. For one he is a 7 year old pit mix so that is a big hit for him from the start. Secondly he has heartworm is not neutered yet. He also has some facial paralysis on his left side when looking face to face with him. Since he is not neutered yet he aggressively trys to hump anything and everything. Auggie does however love to give kisses, and does love to set in your lap to get loves. Auggie was a confiscate cruelty pick up on 02/23/14. He was chained out in the cold this last winter.
His pads and webbing of digits on all paws were cracked/inflamed and bleeding. Probable frost bite to all 4 paws, lips, and tip of tail. So as you can see this poor guy has not had a good life. He deserves to feel the love of a home with a soft bed wnd plenty of attention.
