My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HATCH: I am a 1 year old rat terrier/jack mix. Sweet lover boy is my name. I can be a little bit shy at first, but after that I am the best boy. I just need a second chance! After you get to know me and I am comfortable with you, I will never leave your lap. I enjoy the company of other dogs of all sizes, cats don't bother me much and I am crate trained.
I came from an overcrowded shelter in New Mexico and almost did not make it out. It was a close call and I was so scared!! Now I am in Colorado in a great foster home looking for my forever family!
I am neutered, current on all my shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.
A visitation at the foster home needs to be arranged to come and visit. Fill out a pre-adoption application found on our website at www.pureheartsrescue.org , click on applications. Next email it to: rescue@pureheartsrescue.org for approval or call 970-590-3708 for more information. After approval a visitation will be scheduled. After rescue approval, and you love me and I love you, an adoption contract is filled out and signed. I have a $250.00 adoption fee.
