My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi,
I am Travis. Please step into my office so we can "woo-woo". That is "chat" for your species.
Here's the deal. I am looking for a place to call home. I had one but my human worked too many hours and I was left alone most of the day and evening. By the time he got home, I was ready to bust.
Then I came to DVSHR and went into a home where I met my girlfriend Chloe. Sadly. that didn't work out because they said I was too much for them. I am not sure what that means. I hear my foster Mom say I never had any "training" and I need to learn good manners. She also said I would do well with someone who knows how to enforce rules, structure and boundaries. She is working with me now. I listen to her because when I do she says "Yea!!! Good Boy". I want to be a good boy. I like her voice when she says that and especially the scratching behind the ears. I trust her more and more each day.
I sleep in a crate at night with all the other dogs upstairs. That's OK with me. I am tired at that point.
I have a buddy here that I play with who is about my age. There is an older female who I know wants me to leave her alone, so I do.
My foster Mom has taught me to walk on a leash with a harness. I didn't like it at first but now I so enjoy getting out of the house and sniffing out this town.
I come to you crate trained, house trained and good in the car. I have really deep dark brown eyes and people say the word "handsome" when they look at me. I like it because they are smiling so it must be a good thing. I will be 2 in December and I am 46pds.
I heard my foster Mom tell someone on the phone that I was a good dog in the process of becoming a "Great Dog"
Who out there wants to help me with this process?
