My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bear! Bear is an approximately 8 year old mutt. We've been tossing around possible mixes, and his fur says something along the lines of Newfoundland or Border Collie, possibly some Lab in there or something else. He is a medium sized boy at right around 55-60lbs. Bear is a very sweet guy, who would love a quiet home. He doesn't like having his personal face invaded by strangers, so we are leaning away from a home with little kids. He is friendly with strangers and doesn't mind getting some pets from them. He is a huge goofball with his people. At times, he thinks he is a lap dog, and can be found sprawled on his foster mom's lap! He's a calm boy who doesn't mind hanging out around the house, and going for an occasional walk or hike. He has done well with the other dogs he's met up to this point, and we think he would enjoy having another laid back friend around. He was briefly introduced to the kitties, and he did show some interest in them, so we would likely avoid a home with kitties unless they could be separated. He doesn't like being crated (seems like he had a bad experience at some point), but he is very well-behaved in the house and is housetrained. Bear is neutered and current on vaccinations/vetting.
