Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My friends with Hanover Humane will be placing me in a home in the Richmond, Virginia metropolitan area (counties bordering on Hanover Humane's facility in Ashland, Virginia).
Hello, my name is Sugar, and I’m a Chihuahua / Yorkie mix born in November of 2013. I ended up at Hanover Humane when my previous owners reluctantly gave up my sister and I. I am quick on my feet and playful, but I haven't had a lot of socialization and can be shy/wary of unfamiliar people, especially small children. I like other dogs, but haven’t had any experience with cats. Because of my temperament, I'll only be adopted into a home with older children or no children. I’d be suitable in any type of home from apartment to farm-living. The fee to adopt me is $300, I come spayed, up to date on all of my vaccinations (DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies), on heartworm preventative, microchipped, and with a month of free pet health insurance. I would love to have a home in the Hanover county, or the counties bordering Hanover. Come meet me on Saturday mornings, between 9 AM and 12 Noon or call the kennel to see me on weekdays. You can find me at the HHS kennels on Route 1 in Ashland. That's 12190 Washington Hwy, just north of Minor’s Fences.
