Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zorro grew up with lots of other kittens and an older dog around in his first foster home. He wasn’t becoming social enough so he came to this foster home to spend time with his buddy Wombat, another CCR rescue. When new people come into my foster room, he will hide but he will come out once people sit down and talk. He loves to be petted and has a little routine. He jumps onto my lap and then down, up and then down again a few more times before finally settling onto my lap for twenty minutes of petting and purring and rubbing his cheeks and chin, scratching his ears and quiet talking. He has been an inside cat and would need to be introduced to the great outdoors using a leash. He is used to wearing a halter.
Zorro is still quite a playful fellow. His favourite toys are ping pong balls and he will play soccer for several minutes. Tossing another ping pong ball starts a new game. Zorro uses his scratching post and has never scratched the furniture. He enjoys being given a small spoonful of soft cat food in the morning and especially enjoys cat treats which he eats from my hand.
It did take a long time for Zorro to become the affectionate kitty that he is now and his new people will need to spend the time to bond with him and teach him that they can be trusted. Zorro is a lovebug and will be a wonderful companion.
