My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I've had a lot of foster dogs, and Miss Godiva is among the sweetest, smartest, and most ready to be a wonderful family pet. She and her puppies were rescued from the Stockton, California pound just before they were to be killed. Godiva was a great mom, protective and a good teacher of her pups. The puppies have all been adopted, and Godiva's spayed and ready for a home of her own!

She's flexible--she doesn't care if she belongs to one person, a couple, or a family with kids, as long as she gets playtime, hikes, and fun! She's pretty mellow at home, so she'd be okay with an owner who works all day, but she would really love walks, hikes, swims, or some kind of attention and activity every day. Godiva is very trainable. She loves learning new things, does an enthusiastic "sit" and "down" (see her video), and is even pretty good about off-leash recall, though she needs a little practice. This girl is fantastic...is she the one for you?
