My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammy is a fun-loving 6 month old Black Mouth Cur and Boxer mix. (Born around Thanksgiving 2013) He was rescued out of a rural north Florida shelter on the day he was to be euthanized. Sammy corrects easily and wants to please his owner, so he can be redirected quickly. This sweetheart lives with other dogs, cats, and kids and loves them all. He is crate trained and house trained. Sammy is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He is on heart worm preventative. He was 35 pounds at 5 months old and will probably not get a lot bigger. Sammy likes to make friends with everyone he meets and loves to be pet and played with. His adoption fee is $125 and an application can be completed on our website at www.arfn.org. Sammy lives in the northern Tampa Bay area, so we are only considering applications in Central Florida at this time.
