Boscoe needs a new Rescue/Foster ASAP!!!!

Boscoe was pulled from the Gaston County Animal Shelter on May 9th, just an hour before he was to be... put to sleep. A group of volunteers worked to save Boscoe from death row and now I need help placing him. He is a 1 and a half year old male shepard mix weighing approximately 56 lbs and is heartworm positive.

I have taken care of his vet care and HW treatment. He has already been neutered (Spay and Neuter Clinic of Charlotte) and underwent heartworm treatment (2 injections) on June 4th at Pressly Animal Hospital in Matthews ( of which his treatment has already been paid in full as mentioned above). He is currently taking 250mg of doxycycline twice daily and has had his first heartworm prevention pill.

He is housebroken and crate trained, and knows basic commands such as sit and lie down. He loves to cuddle, play fetch and is great with kids! He would do best in a home without other dogs. He needs a foster/rescue/adopter ASAP! I have attached pictures of Boscoe. See More
