My story

Riley came to Pitty Rescue because her owners were moving and couldn't take her along. She's only about 4 years old and is an absolute sweetheart who loves everyone she meets. Riley has had a full vet workup and is spayed, housebroken and crate-trained - in other words, she is all ready for her forever home! Riley would do best in a home with no other pets, but it might be possible for her to be matched up with a male dog equal to her size and energy level. She knows all her basic commands and is just waiting to "live the life of Riley" in your home! If you think you are the one for her, call now to arrange a meet and greet.

Why adoption is a great option

Riley, a Bloomfield Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bloomfield, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bloomfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
