Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Darby was a darling "little" puppy when they brought her home from the people that had her listed on Craigslist. Then she began to grow, and grow, and grow! It became very apparent that living in an apartment was not the right situation for Darby. She now is approximately an 80lb "puppy" at just about 1 1/2 yrs old.
We believe Darby to be a Black Mouth Cur, German Shepherd mix. What ever her breeed, she is strong and muscular but doesn't really realize it. She has been to basic obedience classes but needs a refresher as she hasn't had the opportunity to practice like she should.
Darby gets along well with other dogs but her stature could intimidate. She "bounces" like a puppy so to a smaller dog it may seem like an elephant stampeding toward them. She just wants to play and have fun. Darby would do best in a family with older children 12+. She needs a yard for exercising and a home bigger than an apartment.
Darby is spay, fully vaccinated and microchipped and ready to go home with you. Her adoption donation is $200 which helps us feed, vaccinate and treat the other dogs in the rescue.
