Here's what the humans have to say about me:
HENRY - LAB/ COLLIE X, NEUTERED MALE, UNDER 1 YR.
~ADOPTION APPLICATION~ Copy this address and paste it in your Web Browser: http://www.turtlegardens.org/blog/?page_id=26160
Henry is less than 1 yr old. He is eager to please, dog social and good with kids as he is gentle with them. He is housebroken and is learning how to have good manners in his foster home, i.e. what is for dogs and what is for humans. He goes to doggy daycare with his foster mom and she says he loves it there. He loves the dogs and loves the staff too. He just gets along with everyone he meets whether its four legged or two legged.
Henry rides well in the car and has learned once the door opens he has to wait to be invited out. He learned this very quickly as he aims to please. He wants to be near his person and this means he walks well on or off leash as he sticks nearby. He does not bark at home, but does bark a bit at daycare when he’s playing.
Henry is very sweet and loving and would love to have a family that he can spend as much time with as possible. He is quite agile and could be a good partner for someone wanting to try agility classes. When Henry first came into foster and went to daycare he was jumping the gate between areas at daycare to stay with his foster mom….wherever she went, he went . With patience and consistency he has learned that it’s okay to not be on the same side and that he doesn’t need to jump over just because he can. That being said, he will need his forever home to keep up the good work on this.
So if you want a loving and fun dog Henry might be the match for you. Whoever adopts him will be very lucky!
Pets can be flown to new homes. Application and homecheck required for all homes, the dog will go to the best home for the dog.
