Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Living up to his name, this gentle dog sits or stands quietly in his kennel, never barking, but always watching, with vigilance and hope. Buddha arrived at the shelter in rather bad shape, emotionally and physically. Fearful of human interaction, he would cower in the corner of his kennel when attempts were made to connect with Buddha. After several weeks of good nutrition and gentle attention from shelter staff and volunteers, Buddha seems to be feeling healthier and is learning to trust people again. He can now be seen walking with his companion through Aquatic Park, head held higher and face muscles more relaxed than we've known them to be. This unusual mix of pit bull and Spaniel has resulted in a delicate-looking, sweet, but sometimes high-strung dog who sorely needs the stability and tenderness only a forever-home can provide.
