My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Itsy & Bitsy are sisters who have recently weaned and are ready to begin the search for their forever home.

They are a bonded pair and will not be separated.

Please note that chinchillas can live up to 15-20 years. The girls are only 9-10 weeks as of 6/17/14. They are a long-term commitment, and only serious inquires will be entertained.

Itsy and Bitsy are both use to being handled, but are still fussy just as any other chin.

Itsy and Bitsy are 2 of 19 surrendered to us from a neglect/hoard case early May of this year. Their mother is malnourished and currently on pregnancy as well as putting on healthy weight. It is possible for them to be reunited with their mother and live as a group if the potential adopter is willing to consider adopting a third later down the road. Their mother, Annie, is expected to be up for adoption in August so long as she passes her pregnancy watch.

If interested in Itsy & Bitsy, please see our website. They will require a cage suitable for young chinchillas (very small bar spacing) and special attention to their needs as they continue to grow.
