My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ben, a handsome young guy getting a new start on life. Ben is not only good looking, but he’s a smarty pants too. He is learning basic manners, and currently knows to say “please” by sitting. He is also learning: Come, Down, Back, Kennel up, Drop It, Take It, and Leave It. Ben is doing great with walking on leash. He’s met an array of dogs since arriving into our rescue and has great social skills. He is also co-living with three cats and is respectful of them.

Ben was picked up as a stray dog in Rochester, Mn and was at the Animal Control facility since March. We do not have any other history on him. During his time at the impound, he was reported to be nippy, but considering he’s under a year old, and had no enrichment or consistent exercise, we were understanding of this. He does tend to be a little fearful of men when he first meets them, but after being given some treats, he warms up quickly.
