Cooper's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cooper's Story...
Cooper is approximately 2 years old. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Cooper seems to be okay with cats, but he needs to be the only dog in the home so he can have all of your attention. He walks nicely on leash, is responsive to training and takes treats gently. Cooper is independent, but friendly and attentive as well and enjoys hanging out with his human friends. He knows basic obedience commands such as "sit" and does the cutest little "poodle sit" too! Cooper can be seen at Placer County Animal Services, 11251 B Avenue, Auburn or contact Lynn at 916.652.4164 or Wendy at 530.305.1917 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Auburn Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Auburn, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Auburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Auburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Auburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Auburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
