Hunter is a sweet senior Beagle. He was surrendered to Friendship because his owner lost her home. Hunter was originally purchased to be a hunting dog, but when they found he was more of a lover than a hunter he was given away to his current owners. Hunter lived with another dog named Dixie and a cat and they all got along fine. Because he is a senior dog, he is a little less active so a family with small children would not be ideal. This good ole' boy would just like to hang out and be part of a family or someones best friend. He's great on a leash and loves to go for walks and run around the fenced in area. He certainly wouldn't be any trouble. Hunter can be adopted with or without his pal Dixie.
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
