My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My Mama was found one cold, miserable day begging for food at a gas station way out in the country .... she was so hungry and emaciated. She had just had a litter of eight precious little puppies (we were only about 2 weeks old) and she was desperate to find food so that she could nourish us. A Humane Society volunteer just happened to pull in.... she tried to approach my Mama but she was so frightened. When she poured out some food, she couldn't resist her kindness. She loved on Mama and then took her right to the vets.

And then, she got more volunteers and went to search for all eight of us puppies. Sometimes God sends angels to help his animals.....he did that day. Thankfully, she was able to see one of the other dogs who lived with us and locate our home. Ours was a very sad but loving home. Our owners had fallen on extremely hard times....they were struggling to provide food, not only for themselves, but three other dogs and two cats plus all eight puppies. They relinquished us to the shelter, knowing that we would be cared for with the promise of a forever home for us all. The nice shelter people also provided food for the other animals in the home.

Now, it is time for me to find my forever home. I have heard the kennel staff and volunteers talk about what a good, smart, little girl I am. I was born approximately the first week of January, 2014 so I am still young. I have gone home for weekend “sleep-overs” with a very nice lady (that is her in the video) that volunteers here and she has taught me to “sit” already (that is her in the video) and she tells everyone how smart and well-behaved I am.

Do you have a special spot in your heart and home for a cuddly little puppy girl...who can just snuggle right in and love you to pieces? I'm here... just waiting!
