Julie's Story...
Calico is an amazing young gal. She is just around 8 months old and has already been a mamma. She was rescued with her kitties and has impressed everyone with her awesome personality. Calico is very friendly and outgoing. She loves to be around people and in the mix of things. She is great with young kids and also loves every dog she meets. She also seems to adjust immediately to any new situation and would acclimate very well to a new home - making herself at home immediately. And would love to greet you as you come home - as well as any guest in your home.

Calico is spayed, current on shots and litter box trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Julie, a Tillamook Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tillamook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tillamook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tillamook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tillamook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tillamook paves the way for another one to be saved.
