My story

Jackson came in a a severely matted stray GSD. He had clearly been on his own or without much care in a while. After an emergency grooming (sponsored by Spanitz Bros Sausage), this guy was literally leaping through the air ready to play. He looks wonderful and has a great personality. Very interactive with people. He is an older dog though, so some days he's got a lot of energy, others are harder for him. He should have a comprehensive blood panel done at this stage of his life. He does love his orthopedic bed though.... if only it were in a home instead of a cage. Check back for more information after his handler has had time for a full evaluation.

Why adoption is a great option

Jax, a Wyandotte German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Wyandotte, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Wyandotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wyandotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wyandotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wyandotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
