But why can’t we stay together?
Mr. Magoo lost his human and his home when they moved into a senior living facility that does not allow pets. This has been a big upheaval for him, but he has handled it all with dignity and grace.
His easy going personality and loving affection have helped him adjust to cat community living, especially when he soaks up the attention of the cat petting volunteers.
Mr. Magoo loves people and has settled in nicely, hanging out with Melvin on a cat tree. His purr is instant and strong as he rolls and rubs to get all of the pets he can. He is smart and inquisitive and has thoroughly investigated the cat community room.
You do need to approach him slowly from his right side as he is totally blind in his right eye from an earlier injury. The eye specialist said that Mr. Magoo can continue to live a perfectly normal life without any current or future medical issues with his eye. He is quite used to not having vision in that eye and it doesn’t seem to bother him one bit.

You can meet Lady Bird at the Coronado Animal Care Facility any day between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
If you are interested in adopting Lady Bird, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or Cat Adoption Applications may be completed online.
