In the words of Baxter's foster Mom: "Baxter is simply the most wonderful dog I have ever known! I could only bear to give him up to a family as loving as he is." If you are that family, Baxter will bring you more joy than you could ever have imagined. This gorgeous boxer hound pup, rescued with moments to spare from a high kill southern shelter, is mature way beyond his months. He has had basic obedience training, but hardly needs it, he is so naturally well-behaved--great with other dogs, quiet in the crate, good on the leash, mellow, cuddly, eager to please, with a temperament as soft as his silky coat. Show him affection, and Baxter will follow you to the ends of the earth--though he would much rather curl up at your feet, or better yet, snuggle up with his head on your lap.
