Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lucy, a 16-month old Boston Terrier. Lucy is a sweet little dog but you will not see this side of her at first until she gets to know you. She is very timid at first, but it doesn't take her long to adjust. She wasn't socialized too much as a pup, so a lot of things are scary to her. With that being said, my friend is fostering Lucy and sees the sweet dog with a lot of potential for the right adopter.
Lucy needs a calm home environment. My friend has grandchildren that she babysits, and the children make Lucy nervous with their quick movements and loud voices. So this is why we are looking for a home with no small children.
She wants to chase a cat, but her foster mom's cat smacked her when she tried, so now Lucy is afraid of cats. She is coexisting with other dogs, but would probably be happiest by herself. Lucy loves to snuggle in bed with you, so if another dog is there, she doesn't like it.
My friend has taught Lucy how to walk on a leash and she is almost housebroken. She loves car rides and is crated at bedtime.
Her adoption fee is $150. She is spayed, vaccinated, and tested negative for heartworm and is on prevention. To meet Lucy, please contact Kathy Deptola Animal Rescue, Inc. 440 862-0610 deptola.kathy@gmail.com
