Hello! I'm Nero and I am a sweet 6ish month old shepherd and maybe mountain cur mix boy (though the shelter mistakenly listed me as a staffie mix which I am NOT) who is looking for a new forever home.

Everybody is pretty sure I will grow up to be a BIG guy. Just look at my feet. Large dogs take up to 2 years to grow to full size so we'll see.

I am a very well adjusted and sweet boy. I've gotten along great with all other dogs I've come across so far, large or small. Even ones who don't live at my foster home who I just met. I hung around the kitty area at the last adoption event and didn't seem to pay them much interest.

I would likely be great for a family with children or really any family who has the time and space to play with me.

Photos do me NO justice. I have beautiful coloring, a sleek body and longer face. Everybody just loves my white socks on my feet. I can't wait to have a family who will never leave me at a kill shelter ever again.
