My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Located in Bristow, VA: My name is Scooby. I am a sweet loveable 4-year old male Maltese. My family surrendered me to the Rescue because they were unable to care for me any longer. I am very friendly and like everyone I meet including children. I like my foster brothers and sisters and have a special foster playmate constantly wrestling and playing tug of war. I love to lay on my foster Mom with all 4 paws up in the air and sleep. I am potty trained to go outside and will remind you if you forget. I love walks but need a little more help with the pulling thing. I also love to go for rides in a car. I like to chase butterflies and birds. I was never caged in my previous home so I don't like being confined. I weigh about 9 lbs, am up-to-date on shots, micro chipped and was recently neutered. I let you know if I'm hungry, want to play or go outside. I would make a wonderful addition to a loving family as an only dog but have no problems with having a playmate. I love to play. When I arrived at my foster home I was being treated for dry eye. Since I've been with my foster Mom the Vet has given me a tear test and it was normal so I was prescribed an over the counter eye drop to keep my eyes clear of irritants. Scooby does not like cats.
