My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy Lu --Updated Bio 9/4/14 Lucy Lu is an adorable 18 month old Maltese/Yorkie Mix. She weighs 9 pounds and is being fostered in Jacksonville, FL.

This is what Lucy Lu has to say to everyone. - Hi everyone, Lucy here. Foster Mom tells me I am getting better with my manners. I am now going in a crate to eat my food twice a day and the crate is not as bad as I thought it would be. A few weeks ago, I discovered the yard, grass, and dirt. It was amazing. I was running all over, taking in all those different smells. I never had that experience before. FM was laughing at me as I ran around the yard. However, I now know that the yard is where I also need to do my business. I only have an occasional accident when FM forgets to leave the door open for me. I am learning that the big dogs are fun to chase when going after the tennis ball. I even get to get it sometimes. I enjoy playing with toys, but I can be a bit possessive. FM is working to help me learn to share my toys. I’m not crazy about sharing, but FM says this will help me with my fur-ever family. I love people including children, though FM thinks it would be best if they were at least 10 years old. How many is that in doggie years?

Lucy is a sweet Morkie who is looking for someone she can cuddle with and who will provide belly rubs and lots of treats. She is a true lover and shows it every chance she gets. She can be a ball of energy one minute and snuggling next to you the next. She prefers to sleep in bed but will also sleep in a doggie version. She does well with larger dogs and cats but may do best if she is the only small dog in the home. Maybe you are just the one to give sweet Lucy Lu her forever home
