Velvet is a sweet, playful girl looking for an experienced, active home.
Big fan of: Exercise! Velvet is an incredibly active girl and will need an equally active home to take her on a nice walk or jog at least once every day. She is a loyal girl and would love to go on weekend camping trips and hikes.
Special Features: Velvet would benefit from positive reward based obedience classes and it will be required that you sign her up for these classes before her adoption can be finalized.
Dream Home: Velvet has shown a little bit of resource guarding tendencies so would do best in a home with respectful children over 14 who will know to leave her alone with her food or bone. Velvet loves other dogs and would do well with an appropriate playmate who will play with her and won't mind her wanting to be the boss. Velvet could potentially live with a very confident cat that will stand up for itself and not let Velvet chase after it.
