Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sadie: is a 2 year young, female, Chocolate Lab and Visla mix. She is very low key, shy, house trained, gets along with other dogs/cats. She loves people. Her coat is a beautiful Chocolate Color. Sadie was rescued out of Pasco County Animal Services when she came in heartworm positive, previously bred, and a rack of bones. She is on the slow-kill method for heartworm treatment (she is now at the monitoring and mothly preventative stage). Sadie would do better in a quiet household. She absolutely loves children.
ARF'N primarily adopts only to residents in the counties surrounding Hernando County in central Florida or within a 60-90 min. drive from the Brooksville/Spring Hill areas. The reason for this is that we personally conduct home visits for each of our rescued pets to ensure they are getting a safe home.

Our adoption fees for dogs range between $150 and $250. All of our pets come completely vetted (spay/neuter, vaccinations, heart worm tested, on heart worm prevention, and a microchip).
ARF'N is a rescue operated by volunteers with full-time professional jobs during the day. We can't always get back to you immediately. Most of our rescue work happens in the evenings and on the weekends. It can typically take up to two weeks to go from application to adoption. More time is required for pets with multiple applications. We do not adopt on a first come, first served basis. We find the best match between pet and adopter. Please be patient with us through this process.
