My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lady was brought into the shelter as a stray during the July 4th holiday. No one ever came to take her home.

You won't find a more kicked back, easy going gal. Lady had no problem coming into a foster home with multiple dogs. She just simply found herself a place and kicked back. Lady will often find herself an available dog bed or crate and just go lay down. She isn't the type of dog that demands a lot of attention, she rarely barks, and doesn't get into any trouble. It's not that she's scared or afraid, she's just that mellow. Seems to good to be true, huh?

I think she would blossom into a velcro, very affectionate dog given one on one attention. At approximately 40 lbs, she is a great size for someone living in a smaller place.

Lady is crate trained, dog door trained, up to date on her vaccines, altered and tested negative for heartworm, tick and lyme disease. Her adoption donation of $200 helps to purchase dog food and provide medical care for other dogs within the rescue.
