Meet Hope! Hope is really hoping there is a family out there that will love her and give her a home that she really deserves.

Hope is a lovely young lady who is thrilled about her second chance at life. Sadly, Hope’s past has been less than ideal but she is optimistic there is a family out there to share a future with. Hope is fantastic with cats and would do great in a home with feline friends. Most importantly, Hope is a very loyal girl who wants nothing more than to be with people and would love to stay by your side. She is such a loving dog and has such a sweet personality. Hope is quite easy to please and would be happy doing almost anything as long as she's with you! She is excellent on leash and does great in the car, and loves to go for hikes. Best of all, Hope has the cutest little underbite... her signature feature!

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming

Spay/Neuter

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)

NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
