My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WE ARE SORRY BUT WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN THE STATE OF FLORIDA

NEW INTAKE, MORE INFORMATION FORTHCOMING

No quick approaches or sudden movements around this beautiful, young Husky girl. Kali is very shy when first meeting people and easily spooked. We expect this will be something she overcomes in time as she settles into her foster home, receives love and affection from her foster family, and becomes more socialized. Once she feels comfortable around you she is very sweet and affectionate. She will even swat at you with her paw or nudge you with her wet nose for attention.

Kali was picked up as a stray by animal services prior to SHRF so little is known about her history or personality. She seems to have had some obedience training as she knows the "sit" and "paw" commands and will take treats gently from your hand.

She gets along with other dogs, although hesitant at first meeting to make sure they are friendly. Kali walks well on lead and enjoys going for walks. She also travels well in the car, laying down or occasionally sitting up to look out the window and see what is passing. She appears to be housebroken.

Kali is healthy, Heartworm negative, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and will be microchipped prior to adoption.
