My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at that happy Greeter grin! Princess Moo became an official Greeter today, and she couldn't be happier.

What's a "Greeter"? Greeter Dogs get the special honor of having free access to the entire shelter. No cages, no kennels. They just roam around so they can greet visitors, get one-on-one attention and receive spot training.

Moo is a 2 year old Pit mix. She first came to us several months ago, very pregnant, and it wasn't long before she delivered seven beautiful pups who all have gone on to great new homes. You've all seen one of her pups, Dexter, featured here a few times with his new owner, Mindy, who will soon be training him as a therapy dog.

Now it's finally Moo's turn to shine. You can meet her at the Adoption Center Monday through Saturday 1pm to 7pm. She's already spayed, heartworm tested, fully vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped, so she's ready to join your family right away. She's great with kids and cats. She does well with other dogs but prefers male dogs or to be the only pooch.
