Gunner is a beautiful purbred male AKC Weimaraner. He is a very loving, affectionate Weim. Loves human contact and is very calm most of the day and LOVES To Nap! All Gunther really wants is be cuddled up next to his person and please. He is a really, really good looking Weim with incredible eye color. He is 11 months old, Neutered and micro chipped.
He is definitely still a puppy, and has those clumsy cute puppy wobbles sometimes. Because of his size, 70+ lbs, he may not be good for babies at this stage... Although he is friendly with kids.
Gunther loves dog parks and most of all he loves other dogs! He loves to be outside running around and exploring, but he can also chill around the house if that is what you want to do. Very low maintenance guy.
He walks pretty nice on a leash and knows his basic commands, sit, down, come. Still learning and still needs repetition. Also, he is extremely smart and learned the invisible fence in 1 day!!
He is house trained .. Also, he has good table manners and doesn’t steal food.
He is VERY Good when getting a bath :)
His Hoppers doesn’t seem to bother him or hinder his activities. He usually needs a little running start to get up on the bed, and he knows how to use stairs!
Gunner is going to need to be placed in a family that has another dog, or wants to adopt 2 dogs.due to the fact that he was originally 1 of 2 dogs and has had so much fun with his foster sister. If you want more information and/or an application please send an email to WeimLuvvr@aol.com !
