My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Georgia sings the saddest of songs. Her cries are truly heart wrenching. The loneliness that burns on her face is heartbreaking. She is one of the misunderstood. Lost & just trying to find her way home. A beautiful soul searching to fulfill an empty void. The void of a soulmate. That special someone you connect with on a deep level, that you trust, someone who makes you feel safe & secure. Someone who will show her what a wonderful place the world can be.

Georgia has a personality that is waiting to emerge into the wonderful pup she is. If only someone will take the time to know her then her colors will truly shine. She is calm & laid back just looking for someone to give her love. Displaying the sweetest Pitbull smile on her face when you are lucky enough to catch a glimpse of it. Four & a half years old & truly gorgeous both inside & out.

Georgia is a big girl who’s looking to take back her girlish figure. A strict diet & daily exercise will help her shed the extra weight she carries. She enjoys taking long walks wherever her paws may lead her. Sniffing out the scents of nature truly makes her heart sing. Dipping her paws in the water is also something she likes to do. Georgia would also benefit from some schooling & would love for you to be her teacher.

Georgia’s ideal home would be with kids over 16. Unfortunately she was probably never socialized in her younger years & is not savvy with furry creatures in general so a pet free place to call home is a must. She’s hoping to find a comfy bed & a spot on the couch. Vowing to be your next best friend & promising to love you unconditionally. Do you have a special place in your heart with Georgia’s name on it? Why don’t you come met this dazzling girl who desperately wants a home of her own. Maybe love is in the air!

Note: As with all of our dogs, we strongly recommend obedience classes for new owner and dog to create a life-long bond with the adopted dog based on trust, respect and rewarding training experiences. We are offering dog training classes through FMAS Wagtime Dog Training. You can check out more information at www.fmaswagtime.com. We can help you train practical skills you use every day with positive reinforcement training. Our shelter dogs are strays and we observe and assess their behavior at the shelter which may be somewhat different in a home environment. In addition dogs adopted from the Manchester Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped and have received their Rabies and distemper vaccinations as well as other necessary medical care such as flea treatment. All dogs are also heartworm tested. Some prudent care such as heartworm medication is not provided at the shelter and should be taken care of at the earliest convenience upon adoption.
