Perone was skinny and sick at the MDAS shelter. Another black dog often overlooked. He was brought in with a little girl about his size, strikingly familiar face but a dark chocolate brown. When they got to the shelter they were immediately separated. Poor Perone was to be put down at the shelter within minutes of being pulled to safety. He has now recovered from his upper respiratory infection, gained weight (been neutered, microchipped and all shots updated) and is looking for his forever family. He is still a little shy but is a sweet boy that plays well with dogs and cats and even kids. He is a gentle boy and will need a family to understand that he has been through a lot in his short life and have the patience to help him develop into an amazing dog! Please contact the Freckles Freedom Fund if you are interested in meeting/adopting Perone....keep in mind we would love for him to be adopted with his little sister Eva.
