Simba was thrown away like trash on a rural east TN road. A good Samaritan saw the pup hurled out the window of a speeding truck. He wasn't sure what it was, but tried to follow the truck to get a license number. When unsuccessful, he turned to find a bag of bones, pup in a ditch. Simba was only 5 wks. at the time and luckily, only his spirit was broken. He has been fed high quality puppy food, probiotics and 3 "squares" a day and lots of cuddling. He is well on his way to enjoying a happy, healthy life!
Simba is 8 wks. old and is in foster care in rural east TN. He will be transported north upon adoption.
Simba currently weighs 7.8 lbs. He is a high energy boy and needs an active family and one that will not leave him alone more then 3 hrs. at a time. He has the goofy, and vocal boxer temperament and is a joy
Simba will have 2 parvo/distemper shots and a bordetella vaccine (kennel cough). He will also be microchipped (we use Home Again and include your 1st year's enrollment in the adoption fee) The adopter will be responsible for his 3rd puppy shot, rabies shot @ 12 wks. and neuter at 6 mo.. Neuter is required in order to adopt.
PLEASE - NO APARTMENTS, CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 8. She has not been cat tested, but feel a cat free home would be best. She would torment a cat as she plays rough and hard!
Our dogs are transported via Alpha Dog Transport. They arrive in New England on Sat. a.m. at stops in PA, NJ, CT, VT, ME. They charge $140 for their services and also hand off the vet records when your pup is claimed. Simba's adoption fee is $300.
