My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lora is a VERY affectionate and loving little girl. She loves to lay next to her foster mom on the couch, and cuddle up! Lora can be shy at first, as she takes a little bit of time to warm up to new people, but once she does, she is such a LOVE!. Lora likes to be pet and cuddled, and although she naps during day with her furry sister, she sleeps cuddled up with her human under the covers at night :)!

Lora prefers to observe her sister playing before she decides to dive in and play too, and then they have a blast together. She is also very observant, as she loves to watch the world through the window with her furry sister. Lora also enjoys a good meal…to let her foster mom know that she is hungry, she lets out the cutest "meow’s” when her foster mom is in the kitchen…hint, hint, hint.

Lora and her sister were born in a foster home on April 29, 2014. Their foster Mom found their pregnant mom all alone, and brought her in to give her some much deserved love and attention. In fact, she fell in love with their mom and welcomed her into her home forever! The two girls LOVE to play with one another, including having a good wrestle once in a while! And after they tire each other out, they will settle in and cuddle up together to take a nap.

Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Lora would LOVE to be adopted with her sister since she already knows her so well…and then they can play, and snuggle while you're not home. Check out our PICK A PAIR page to see if she is still available, or if she isn't, you can pick your own pair! If there is already another playful kitten in the house, she would love that too.

You can meet Lora at Wilmette Pet, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750 www.wilmettepetcenter.com). Although you may want to adopt her on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.

Lora’s adoption fee of $135 includes: vet exam, feline leukemia/FIV test (neg), FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, routine deworming, flea preventative, microchip and spay.
