Lucky is a 10 year old male Boston Terrier who is being fostered in Coteau-du-Lac, Quebec.
His striking black and white good looks, tinged with touches of gentlemanly gray, only add to this dapper dude’s aristocratic appeal. Our light-hearted Lucky weighs a sleek and lithe 23 pounds. Despite the bilateral nuclear sclerosis in his eyes, he is barely deterred from living and loving his life to the fullest. In fact, he LOVES to play, and sees more than well enough to chase after – and fetch – a ball. He gets along easily with people of all ages, as well as dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. Among his favourite activities are going for brisk walks, de-stuffing stuffy toys and playing lusty games of tug-o-war with his closest doggy buddies.
Always the well-behaved Boston, Lucky knows his basic commands, including sit, stay, down and stop, and will, if necessary, enter and remain calmly inside his crate when left alone. But because he also “knows the house rules”, he knows to obey them and can be trusted on his own.
He submits willingly to being bathed in order to maintain his best-groomed Boston appearance, but trimming his nails requires a generous supply of bribes/treats.Although he loves human company, Lucky is not a lover of cuddling, and yet he will happily sleep in his doggy bed next to your bigger bed at night. Next on this affable American Gentleman’s agenda: a fun and fulfilling forever home as loving and lively as he is.
