My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gemma's Story...
On 8/22/14 she was found on Rt 1 in Penndel PA. Amongst the speeding morning rush, here was this sweet girl trotting down the busy highway. A little ruffed up with scratches and cuts on her paws & legs she happily jumped right in the Good Samaritans car! (She's not shy when it comes to car rides- she also LOVES riding in my convertible!) Not wanting to see this sweet girl head to the shelter, her rescuer called the police and local shelters and filed a found report. He kept her for a few days and had his vet look her over and scan her for any microchips - nothing.
Since no one came forward and they could not keep her they were desperate for help ~ you may as well tattoo "sucker for a pibble" on my forehead! But it didn't take too much convincing as she's a social butterfly- LOVES people and of course I fell head over heels!! Now I'm determined to find her Furever Home!

Here's some basic info about Gemma

She's Located in South New Jersey (transportation available for a meet)
She's Aprox 3-4 yrs old
spayed (9/5/14)
Heart worm NEG
Lymes NEG
UTD Rabies & DAPP
MICROCHIPPED
Looks like she was bred at least once
Aprox 40-45lbs
No Small Feisty Dogs
No Cats
Takes treats nicely
LOVES belly rubs
Has a typical pibble energy level- Active!
Walks and car rides are very important to Gemma, she anxiously waits for her turn every day. She would benefit from a steady daily routine.
Gemma knows Sit, lay, paw, other paw, belly, rollover
A little rusty but knows them and is very smart. She listens well to correction and direction and you can tell she wants to know more !
Her agility is fantastic and will be able to keep pace with any active human!
But most of all she just want to be near you, lay with you.
Gemma is house trained and will lick your face in the morning while your sleeping to announce her need to "go outside".

Gemma truly is a "gem" and whoever adopts this pup is going to be surely rich with a great dog/companion.
