My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dumbo is a male cat born in March 2014. He is still a kitten at almost 6 months old! Dumbo earned his name from his big ears, which he has now grown into. Not normally a sock hunter as pictured above but being a playful cat, he could not resist this temptation just once. Dumbo is a very calm, confident cat and is very open to new situations, immediately exploring his surroundings. He seems very relaxed and does not mind being scooped up by small children. He has been neutered and is just one shot shy of completing his vaccinations but has been given the all clear by the vet. He enjoys the company of his littermate, Smalls, and would be great to adopt as a pair.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and either come to an adoption event or arrange to meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
