My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You couldn’t get much cuter and sweeter than Princess if you tried, at least not if you are a Papillon pup. Princess is an adorable, lean, purebred red and white Pap about 15 months old. She is maturing late in terms of her coat but it’s getting there. She already has a start on the renowned Pap ear fringe and tail plume. She weighs 7 pounds and isn’t likely to get much bigger.
Princess is a bit timid until she knows you but then she is a big lover/lap dog. She gets along great with most other dogs. Being so young, she still plays like a puppy and would love another small dog for a playmate. Note: we do not adopt into homes with big dogs.
Pretty Princess is mostly housebroken (extra-smart and will easily learn), good on a leash and good in the car. She is spayed and up-to-date on shots. In her ideal home she should not be left all day without a person. If a house, it must be securely fenced, but she should never be allowed in the yard without constant supervision because of the threat of coyotes.
We require a home visit and vet reference. The adopter must be 21 or older. Princess’s adoption fee is $300. If you are interested in adopting Princess, please email us at paprescuesocal@gmail.com and request an adoption application. We will contact you when we receive it.
