Handsome, active yet mellow type of guy seeking my forever family. I enjoy long walks, hiking in the woods, and enjoying the outdoors. After a long day, I will greet you at the door with a big hug. I like to spend the evening cuddling on the couch and watching some TV. I have a big heart and a lot of love to give, so I'm looking for a family that will be with me for the long haul.
Lucas is an awesome guy, very smart and extremely social, he wants to meet and greet everyone that passes by. He is house broken, he really does not care much for the crate but he does settle down once in there. Lucas can and will easily jump a 5 foot fence, so he will require a home with a 6ft + solid fence or dedicated leash walking.
The ideal situation for Lucas would be a family where someone is home much of the day with him or someone that can take him to work with them. He gets along well with other dogs, but does not have much interest in playing with them, he much prefers just being with his people. He ignores the cats in his foster home, but he will chase a squirrel or two.
If you're looking for an active, yet laid back, type of companion, Lucas is your guy.
