Maggie is a super sweet tiny 4lb little female Chihuahua. We don't really know her age and she could be anywhere from 8-12yrs old, she is missing most of her teeth so it is very hard to tell her approximate age. Sadly this is a common issue in small breed dogs. Maggie came in as a stray that no one claimed..
She is a true lap dog and just wants to be with her humans and be the center of attention. She just loves to cuddle in your lap and get pet all day long if she could get you to do it. She will follow you from room to room until you sit down so if you are looking for a shadow dog she is your dog. She is housebroken and loves going for her walks, she is learning how to walk on a leash and not pull so she may have never been walked on a leash or super excited when she goes for walks. Agatha would do great in an adult home only and we will only adopt to an adult home. She likes a quite relaxed home and is very timid around children.

We as a rescue have searched high and low for her previous family with no luck at this time.Maggie Spayed, Vaccinated, Microchipped, Heartworm negative, Dental .
**August 8th 2014** I came into the shelter as a stray and the shelter took very good care of me in hopes my family would come looking for me. I am very thin and only weigh in at a whopping 4 pounds.
**August 16th 2014** I found a foster I am so happy, rescue is going to take me in and find my perfect forever home. I am getting all my vaccinations, spay and my dental done. We hope the dental helps bring my weight up as I am truly a bag of bones and my teeth could be the issue.I am so excited to be on my way to finding my forever home.
**September 20th 2014** My foster family says I am doing very good and I am a sweet and special girl. I am slowly starting to gain weight and eat some yummy soft food. You can still see my back bone, ribs and hip bones but it is a slow process. I love going for walks and still need a little work on my pulling either I have not walked on a leash or I am just super excited but its like I want to run. I do enjoy my walks and doing very good going potty outside so I am a housebroken pup. I love all adults I meet and seem to favor a quite relaxed home. I follow my humans everywhere they go and I am a shadow dog, I need to be near you and love to be in your company. When we are not walking around I prefer to be in your lap and will nudge your hand to pet me. I will have you do it all day if you will do it. I am just a snuggling kinda dog and thrive on the attention. I do not like children and become very timid when they come near me so I am not a dog for a family with children. I am ready for my new family a family who will continue to help me gain weight, snuggle me all day and let me shadow them. I want the love I deserve and thrive on and either my previous family loved me very much or I am just experiencing this love and do not want to give it up, I need a snuggle owner who will want to dot on me all day long, I'll even show you how it is done.
